MOPLUS is a document management and flight operations system designed for pilots and ground operations officers before, during, and after flights, available on both mobile and web platforms.
MOPLUS is the first software system in which Vietnam Airlines takes ownership of the business requirements, solution direction, and technology, without relying on outsourced services. By pioneering technological ownership and practical application, MOPLUS is expected to become a strong foundation supporting Vietnam Airlines in its ambition to become one of the leading airlines in digital transformation across the ASEAN aviation industry.

One of the key highlights of the MOPLUS system is the adoption of advanced technologies, including a Microservices architecture combined with Kubernetes on Viettel’s Cloud platform. This forms the core foundation that enables the system to operate flexibly and efficiently while allowing for seamless scalability.
Thanks to this innovative approach, Viettel Software, despite being a relatively young technology company, was trusted by Vietnam Airlines and selected as the implementation partner for the project.
Viettel Software has quickly demonstrated its capabilities and established its position as a strategic partner in Vietnam Airlines’ digital transformation journey—supporting a major airline with an international operational footprint.
Mr. Ho Minh Tam, Director of the Operations Control Center at Vietnam Airlines, said:
